University of Delhi announced admissions for session starting from 2012 for the course “B.El.Ed” (Bachelors in Elementary Education) , a four year integrated Professional Teacher Education Programme.

Details are as follows!

Obtaining of Admission prospectus

A) Students can purchase the prospectus and application form from  the  following branches of SBI (State Bank of India) by cash:

1)  North  Campus Delhi University;  

2)  Gargi College;

3)  Shahdara;

4)  Prashant  Vihar;

5) Sector  11  Dwarka;  

6) B-Block, Connaught  Place. 

B)   by Post from CIE - Bank draft of Rs. 375/- (for SC/ST/ PwD)

and  Bank draft of Rs.525/- (for  Other Categories)  from a

Nationalised Bank, payable at Delhi, in favour of Registrar,

University of Delhi.

Cost of the Prospectus and examination fee

1. by Cash Rs. 300/- (for SC/ ST/ PwD) and Rs.450/- (for Other

Categories) from any of the above mentioned SBI branches, or.

 2.   by Post from CIE – by sending a Bank draft of Rs. 375/- (for SC/ST/ PwD),

And a Bank draft of Rs.525/- (for Other Categories) from any

Nationalized Bank, payable at Delhi, in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi.

Eligibilities*

1.  10+2 with minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate of four subjects (one language + any three academic subjects) and 50% marks in each above four subjects

2. OBC candidates will have a relaxation of 10 %
3.  SC/ST candidates must have passed all of the above four subjects.

May 22 – June 06, 2012 by cash at SBI branches

May 22 – June 01, 2012 by post from CIE

2.  Last Date to Apply 6^th June 2012 , till 4 PM

3.  Date of Entrance Examination is June 24, 2012 Sunday 9:30 a.m.

4.  Display of Merit List  for Centralised  Counselling, July 02, 2012 Monday

5.  Counselling session will be held from 6^th July to 12 July 2012
